A Functional, Natural Smile with All-on-4® – Achieved in Four Months

The Dental Problem

Our 67-year-old patient had been struggling for some time with missing teeth, fractured teeth and the consequences of night-time teeth grinding. Together, these issues made chewing uncomfortable and also significantly affected the appearance of his smile. His goal was clear: to regain a stable, well-aligned smile he could feel confident with.

Solution

To achieve this aim, we restored both arches using the All-on-4® technique. During the first stage, we removed the teeth that could not be saved and placed four Nobel Biocare implants in each arch. The temporary fixed bridges were fitted the following day, allowing the patient to benefit from an aesthetic and functional fixed solution throughout the healing period.
In the second phase, the final zirconia bridges were designed, fabricated and fitted. Due to the patient’s previous bruxism, careful attention was given to establishing the correct bite position to ensure comfort, stability and long-term durability of the restorations.

Result

The transformation was immediately visible. The final All-on-4® restorations provide a harmonious, well-aligned smile that noticeably brightens the patient’s overall appearance. Beyond aesthetics, the functional outcome is equally strong: chewing is comfortable and secure again, speech clarity has improved, and day-to-day comfort has significantly increased. All of this was achieved in just over four months.
