Missing Teeth, Root Canal Treated and Filled Teeth – Full Arch Rehabilitation with All-on-4®
The Dental Problem
The 48-year-old man had lost several teeth, and the remaining ones had undergone tooth filling procedures or root canal treatment. His smile had lost its aesthetic appeal and functionality, significantly affecting his quality of life. He lived with constant pain, avoided social situations, and even found eating to be a challenge. To address these issues, complete mouth rehabilitation was necessary. Since he sought a comprehensive solution, we recommended the All-on-4® implant procedure. This method provides a stable, functional, and highly aesthetic full-arch restoration in a short time, which can last for many years, potentially even a lifetime.
Solution
As a first step, we extracted all of the patient’s remaining teeth and placed four implants in each jaw according to the All-on-4® concept. For the healing period, we provided a fixed (non-removable) temporary bridge, which immediately improved the patient’s quality of life. A few months later, we attached the final upper and lower zirconia bridges to the implants.
Result
The complete All-on-4® rehabilitation was finished in just 8 months, significantly improving the patient’s life. He no longer experiences pain, requires constant dental treatments, or faces daily challenges due to dental problems. Now, he can smile confidently and enjoy his meals again, as the stable, natural-looking zirconia restorations feel like having his own healthy teeth back.
