Upper All-on-4® and Lower Implant-Supported Crowns and Bridges – A Remarkable Smile Transformation

The Dental Problem

Our 47-year-old patient presented with multiple dental concerns, including inflammation around certain teeth, fractured roots and several missing teeth. The condition of his dentition had begun to significantly impact his daily life – eating became increasingly difficult, and the aesthetic changes to his smile led to reduced confidence and a more withdrawn lifestyle.

Solution

During the first stage of treatment, we removed the teeth that could no longer be preserved. Since we chose the All-on-4® approach for restoring the upper arch – a technique that allows immediate implant placement following extraction – we were able to place all four implants during the same appointment. The next day, a temporary All-on-4® bridge was secured, already providing noticeable improvement in comfort, function and overall quality of life. In the second phase, implants were placed in the lower jaw and the final zirconia All-on-4® bridge was fitted in the upper arch. To complete the rehabilitation, the lower arch was restored with implant-supported zirconia crowns and a molar bridge.

Result

The final restorations provide stable chewing function and a strong, reliable bite, while also delivering a significant aesthetic enhancement. With his new smile, the patient now feels noticeably more confident — and not only his face, but his overall appearance looks more harmonious, refined and well-presented.
