Upper All-on-4® and Lower Implant-Supported Restorations – Full Smile Reconstruction
The Dental Problem
Our 67-year-old male patient had several upper teeth so severely broken that they could no longer be restored with crowns and had to be extracted. In addition to the damaged teeth, there were multiple gaps in the upper jaw, while several molars were also missing in the lower jaw. Both functional and aesthetic rehabilitation were required.
Solution
For the upper arch rehabilitation, we applied the All-on-4® technique. In the lower jaw, since several natural teeth could still be preserved, we opted for a conventional implant-supported solution. After extracting the non-restorable teeth, the implants were placed. Following surgery, a temporary fixed All-on-4® bridge was fitted in the upper jaw, which significantly improved the patient’s quality of life during the healing phase. For the lower jaw, a removable temporary restoration was provided.
After a six-month healing period, we delivered the final restorations: a fixed full-arch All-on-4 zirconia bridge in the upper arch and implant-supported zirconia bridges in the lower molar region. The use of high-quality zirconia ensured a solution that was both highly aesthetic and exceptionally durable.
Result
Our patient’s smile has been completely renewed. Thanks to the fixed zirconia restorations, he can once again smile with confidence, eat comfortably, and enjoy his daily life with ease. His quality of life has significantly improved in every respect.
